Houston pool table movers About us
|
What brings me here is my passion for this game.
I started playing or learning about this game in Louisville,
Kentucky. I thought I was really good when I picked up my
first cue. I walked into a run down little pool hall called C & L
Billiards and had a 15 year old kid teach me a $60 lesson.
Thats when my journey began. I am now ranked a 7 in the
A.P.A. and figure in a few more years of practice and
competition I will reach semi-pro.
A couple of months after I moved here to Houston
I started working for one of the largest billiard retailers
in the nation. Although they were a great company to
work for, being head installer and doing 3 to 5 jobs a day
wasn't allowing me to give each table the time and
attention that they all require. I knew that if I wanted to
set up great playing tables and give the type of customer
service I would want on my own table, I would have to go
at it on my own.

Houston pool table movers consists of my wonderful pool playing wife Rebecca,
who is my partner, and I. This is ideal to me because I am not relying on anyone else to perform the quality
of work that I require. Being a woodworker is another huge plus for this line of work, it teaches me what
works and what works better when servicing your pool table. It's an important aspect to understand.
Sometimes older pool tables need a little extra love in the form of new hardware, or a piece fabricated to
make the table more solid. These are things I can take care of in my wood shop at a small price. The
whole idea is to leave the table in better condition than it was when I arrived!
Kirby Custom Tables is another venture of mine which I would like to have up and
running in the next couple of years. A couple of years ago I decided to make a custom table for myself,
mostly to see if my skills were up to par. It turned out really nice. The second table I made was truly a
custom table for a customer of mine. Check out this table.
My tables are not meant to be mass produced. Each design is uniquely made and no two tables
should be alike. I prefer to build my tables in a modern design because I find that it gives you a stronger,
longer lasting product. If you have an idea in mind then I can construct it with old-world craftsmanship.
There is no limit to imagination when creating a table and I welcome the challenge. Once your custom
table is complete, I will deliver and install your table personally, even if you live across the country.
All custom tables built and installed with the best of everything ( Artemis rail cushions, Simonis
cloth, Brunswick Centennial balls, etc. ).
